The Case for A Uniform Approach to Compensation for the Wrongfully Convicted
Marc Consalo is an Assistant Professor of Law at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. He teaches Criminal Law and Professional Responsibility. Prior to entering academia, he was an Assistant State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit for Orange County, Florida. He also worked for over twenty years as a court appointed defense attorney for indigent individuals handling major felonies including sex cases and homicides. In addition to teaching, he serves as a Special Magistrate for the Town of Oakland, Florida.
